SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
OBJECTIVE:
This fund provides an opportunity for a better
tomorrow by financially assisting Sky Soldiers and Qualified Dependents in
furthering their education.
POLICY: Provide financial grants to
students who are or plan to attend an accredited college, university, or higher
technical trade school. Neither applications at the high school or prep school
level are accepted.
ELIGIBILITY: Sky Soldier
as defined as an individual who is at the time of application is a current
member of the 173d Airborne Brigade Association or was KIA.
Qualified Dependents as defined as a spouse, child, grandchild and stepchild
of a Sky Soldier

1 February 2011 Application Available for Download. 15 April 2011 Application deadline (in hand) to Scholarship Chairman (Postmarked by 10 April 2010). 1 May 2011 Applications copied and mailed to Scholarship Committee. 22 May 2011 Scholarship Committee reports ranking of applicants to Scholarship Chairman. 15 June 2011 Final Scholarship Awards communicated to Foundation President. 25 June 2011 Announcement of Scholarship Awards at General Membership Meeting. Prospective applicants who consider themselves eligible, must fill out the download the application form after 1 February 2011 |
