Discounted Lodging, Special Tour, Reunion Transportation
The Transportation and Hotels Group (not a part of the Memorial Foundation or Association but organized by Sky Soldier Terry Modglin) has worked to secure reasonable hotel rates for the once-in-a-lifetime 173d National Memorial Dedication at Fort Benning and bus transportation to and from the reunion in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. SPECIAL TOUR OF FT. BENNING: Tuesday, June 1, right after the dedication, a special 4-hour guided bus tour will show you the new (and old) Ft. Benning with a special emphasis on Airborne! Cost of $25 per person includes lunch. TRAVEL FROM COLUMBUS TO NORTH MYRTLE BEACH (and back to Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport): Modern motor coach departs at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 2 to North Myrtle Beach. Cost for the one-way trip is $99 per person; delivers passengers to reunion hotel. Return trip to Atlanta Airport departs just after Memorial Service on Sunday, June 6; also costs $99.
